Dr. Finny Kuruvilla holds an MD from Harvard Medical School, a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and a bachelor’s degree from Caltech in Chemistry. He is a co-founder and the lead portfolio manager for Eventide Funds, a socially-responsible and values-based investing firm. From 2008-2016, he was a Principal at Clarus Ventures, a leading healthcare and life sciences venture capital firm. From 2005-2008, Dr. Kuruvilla was a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard and MIT (Broad Institute) in medical genetics. Prior to this research, Dr. Kuruvilla was a resident physician and clinical fellow at two Boston area hospitals (Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Boston) where he cared for both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Kuruvilla has a keen interest in biblical interpretation and church history, for the purpose of fostering a strong and vibrant church today. His interests include ante-Nicene Christianity, Reformation and Anabaptist history, and the Great Awakenings of the eighteenth and nineteenth century. He is the author of King Jesus Claims His Church.
Chris Brooks is the Senior Pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the metro-Detroit area. He is also the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, “Equipped with Chris Brooks,” which is heard on over 200 stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics and a contributing author to several other works including A New Kind of Apologist and The Flourishing Pastor. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Asbury Theological Seminary where he is studying the Integration of Economics and Theology. Chris and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children.
Caleb Savari was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and moved to the U.S. in 2015 to attend Boston’s Berklee College of Music. As Director of Music and Media at Mosaic Boston, Caleb desires to deepen the marriage between music and theology. "When we understand more of who God is, more of who we are, and through the work of Christ how we relate to him, our love for him deepens. From that position of deepened love, our hearts should shout and sing with praises and thanksgiving."
